A SERIES OF MOMENTS
Life is beautiful….there could be nothing simpler than that
Life is noticing the subtle things the butterfly fluttering,
The cuckoo singing, the raindrops falling, the flower blossoming,
Life is a rainbow that harnesses our dreams within the bounty of its colours…
Each second, each minute, each hour and each day is but a little life,
To be cherished as the most precious thing,
Life is acknowledging the Supreme Being,
Life is the enthusiasm that envelops us all….
Life is being proud of our nation, its progress, its achievements,
Life is to be lived, to be enjoyed and to be laughed with,
Life is sharing of the sorrows, about finding pleasure in pain,
Life is about love, thoughts, feelings, empathies…
A Series of moments…….That’s life.

Never lose your heart.
Never lose your heart.
Be optimistic.
Every black cloud has a silver lining.

Self-respect
Self-respect
Respect for one's self; regard for one's character; laudable self-esteem.
•dignity: the quality of being worthy of esteem or respect; "it was beneath his dignity to cheat"; "showed his true dignity when under pressure"
•Self-esteem is a term used in psychology to reflect a person's overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth. Self-esteem encompasses beliefs (for example, "I am competent" or "I am incompetent") and emotions such as triumph, despair, pride and shame. ...
•The knowledge of one's own worth, valuing one's self; pride
Self respect is extremely important in that it effects everything you do in life. How you allow people to treat you and what you will settle for is all based around your self worth and that comes back to the respect you carry for yourself.
Self respect is liking oneself and giving yourself dignity, just like you would give it to any other person. Self respect is such an important thing because without it self love is impossible and loving others in a healthy way is impossible. If you lack self respect, you will allow others to trample...
When you have self-respect, you actually fully love yourself. You love yourself for who you are on the inside and not just because of what you do, what you look like, or what you’re capable of. When you have self-respect.
happiness
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room’s only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.
Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man couldn’t hear the band – he could see it. In his mind’s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive
words.
Days and weeks passed..
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
It faced a blank wall.
The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, “Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.”
Epilogue:
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can’t buy.
“Today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present.”

(Now I will stand against terrorism)

Self-awareness
Self-awareness is the explicit understanding that one exists. Furthermore, it includes the concept that one exists as an individual, separate from other people, with private thoughts. It may also include the understanding that other people are similarly self-aware. Self-awareness remains a critical mystery in philosophy, psychology, biology, and artificial intelligence.
Self-consciousness is credited only with the development of identity (see the self). In an epistemological sense, self-consciousness is a personal understanding of the very core of one's own identity. It is during periods of self-consciousness that people come the closest to knowing themselves objectively.
Jean Paul Sartre describes self-consciousness as being "non-positional", in that it is not from any location in particular.
Self-consciousness plays a large role in behavior, as it is common to act differently when people "lose one's self in a crowd". It is the basis for human traits, such as accountability and conscientiousness. Self-consciousness affects people in varying degrees, as some people self-monitor (or scrutinize) themselves more than others. Different cultures vary in the importance they place on self-consciousness.
According to Locke, personal identity (the self) "depends on consciousness, not on substance" nor on the soul. We are the same person to the extent that we are conscious of our past and future thoughts and actions in the same way as we are conscious of our present thoughts and actions. If consciousness is this "thought" which doubles all thoughts, then personal identity is only founded on the repeated act of consciousness: "This may show us wherein personal identity consists: not in the identity of substance, but... in the identity of consciousness".
Therefore personal identity is not in the brain, but in consciousness.

I SWEAR
I swear that this time I will stand up
Not for what I believe in, but for what I don't
This time I will stand up.
Not for,but against
Against my own helplessness
Against my own laziness
Against two words called "CHALTA HAI"
Against shortcuts in queues
Against cheating in exams
Against "KHARCHA PAANI" in offices
Against powerless inquiry commissions
Against religion in politics
Against politics in religion
Against illegal construction
Against legal loopholes
Against the belief that nothing will change.
Because only by standing against all that
is destroying our today,
Will I be able to give my children
Something called TOMORROW.
Not for what I believe in, but for what I don't
This time I will stand up.

INTENSE LOVE

O ANTARIKSH

success
Non-achievement doesn't mean
You are a failure,
It just means you haven't succeeded yet.
Non-achievement doesn't mean
you have accomplished nothing,
It just means you have learnt something.
Non-achievement doesn't mean
you are wrong
It just means you have to do it,
in a different and efficient way.
Non-achievement doesn't mean
You should give up,
It just means you should try harder.
Non-achievement doesn't mean
You will never make it,
It just means it will take a little longer.
Non-achievement doesn't mean
GOD has abandoned you,
It just means god has a
better plan for you.
